Explore Grand Junction, CO

For Colorado's Western Slope, Grand Junction is the medical center of gravity, drawing patients from a wide ring of rural counties to Intermountain Health St. Mary's Regional Hospital and the clinics around it. That regional pull keeps allied staffing busy in outpatient surgery centers and physical-therapy clinics across the city. Its distance from the Front Range sets the local network apart from Denver's larger systems, leaving Grand Junction to function as a largely self-reliant hub. A compact downtown keeps daily logistics simple, while the red rock of the Colorado National Monument frames the surrounding landscape. The city's role across this expansive region centers on delivering broad care to geographically scattered communities through a focused, established healthcare base.
