Explore Fort Lauderdale, FL

Fort Lauderdale anchors a broad stretch of the South Florida hospital market along the Gold Coast in Broward County. Demand is deep across emergency departments and intensive care units, with work scattered from the beaches to the inland suburbs. Thirty miles south on I-95 lies Miami, with Pompano Beach just north and Boca Raton farther up the coast. Getting around is easy, with Brightline and Tri-Rail both stopping downtown. The airport is barely five miles south, a quick hop for travelers flying home between contracts. Local housing ranges widely, so many weigh an oceanfront rental against a cheaper inland base. Off the clock, Las Olas Boulevard and the beaches are minutes from most rentals.
