NJ Transit trains run from Wayne, NJ into Hoboken with connections on to New York Penn Station, and express buses head straight to the Port Authority in Manhattan. The township sits in Passaic County about twenty-five miles northwest of the city, where I-80, US-46, and Route 23 meet at a large interchange, with US-202 nearby. Imaging centers and physical therapy clinics line the Route 23 corridor and the commercial stretches around Willowbrook. William Paterson University adds a student population. Newark Liberty Airport is about twenty-five miles south. Housing runs high across this part of North Jersey, typical of the New York suburbs. On balance, the work keeps the busy, even pace of a dense commuter township.
