According to the Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship, eligible companies are evaluated by the following criteria:

  • An independent, privately held corporation, proprietorship, or partnership (not subsidiaries or divisions of a parent company or franchisee) as of May 1, 2022, and must be an operating company
  • Headquartered in the Dallas area
  • Have a three-year sales history that reflects growth during the three-years sales period
  • Have a credit report and character satisfactory to the Dallas100™, determined at the sole discretion of the Dallas100™
