Banner Heart Hospital — Mesa, AZ

Mesa, AZ

Banner Heart Hospital is a freestanding specialty hospital in Mesa focused on heart and vascular disease. Its programs treat heart attacks, heart failure, rhythm disorders and valve disease, with surgical care and rehabilitation available.

Cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology laboratories provide catheter-based treatment and care for rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation ablation, pacemakers and implanted defibrillators.

Cardiac surgery includes coronary artery bypass and mitral and aortic valve repair or replacement, with minimally invasive approaches used when appropriate.

Vascular surgery includes abdominal aortic aneurysm repair and peripheral vascular procedures, alongside carotid artery stenting and surgery.

The cardiovascular ICU provides recovery care after open-heart surgery, with nurses and respiratory care practitioners working together on treatment and monitoring.

Cardiac rehabilitation spans inpatient treatment, outpatient therapy and a maintenance program that supports continued recovery after the initial phases of care.
