Responsibilities

  • Perform ordered CT exams across the assigned caseload, including emergent studies when assigned
  • Administer oral and IV contrast per orders and facility protocol, monitoring patients during and after injection
  • Operate CT equipment, selecting approved protocols and applying dose-optimization and ALARA radiation-safety standards
  • Capture diagnostic-quality images and complete reconstructions per protocol, providing finished studies to radiologists

Travel CT Tech Requirements:

  • 2+ years of recent CT Tech experience.
  • Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Georgia and national regulatory bodies.

Memorial Health University Medical Center serves adults and children across Southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina. Its Savannah campus combines a Level I trauma center with the Savannah campus of Mercer University School of Medicine.

Diagnostic imaging includes CT, MRI, PET, nuclear medicine, ultrasound and fluoroscopy, with angiography and interventional radiography available alongside imaging for musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

Cardiovascular care includes cardiothoracic surgery, electrophysiology and an interventional catheterization lab that performs balloon angioplasty, stenting, cardiac ablation and treatment of chronically blocked coronary arteries.

The Curtis and Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute treats cancers including breast, lung and gynecological cancers, using chemotherapy, surgery, radiation therapy and stereotactic radiosurgery.

Surgical services include general surgery, joint replacement and weight management procedures, with robot-assisted surgery among the available approaches.

The birthing center provides high-risk pregnancy care and dedicated cesarean operating rooms near labor and delivery. The campus children's hospital provides Level IV neonatal intensive care.
