FAQs – Travel Occupational Therapy Jobs Near Greenwood, IN

What certifications are required for travel Occupational Therapy jobs?
Facilities typically require current NBCOT certification as an Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR), along with BLS certification. You also need authorization to practice in the assignment’s state. Your recruiter can confirm exact requirements for this position.
How much experience do I need for a travel Occupational Therapy assignment?
Many travel OT assignments prefer at least one year of experience, ideally in the same setting as the job. Requirements vary, and some facilities consider therapists with less experience. Relevant skills include independently completing evaluations, developing treatment plans, and managing a daily caseload.
Which licensing route can cover this Indiana travel OT contract?
Indiana now offers compact practice authority. If your primary residence and occupational therapist license are in an eligible Compact home state, secure an approved Indiana privilege before this contract begins. The Compact issues a state-specific privilege, not one multistate OT license. Clinicians who prefer a permanent Indiana license may apply by reciprocity, complete the criminal background check, and send official verification from at least one licensing jurisdiction. Confirm current fees, requirements, and application steps with the Indiana Occupational Therapy Committee.

Benefits

  • Day One Benefits, Medical, Dental, Vision & 401(k)
  • Relocation and Travel Reimbursement
  • Dedicated team to help with state licensing & renewals
  • Weekly Direct Deposit
  • $1,000 Referral Bonus + $250 Bonus for Your Referral

Explore Greenwood, IN

Indiana offers therapy travelers more regional variety than its image of flat farmland suggests. Indianapolis has a large medical community, including physical therapy connected with orthopedic and rehabilitation care. The surrounding city combines professional sports, public art, and museums, while Bloomington brings music and university events farther south. Southern Indiana’s wooded hills and limestone country offer another setting, with Brown County known for scenery and its arts community. At the opposite end of the state, the Lake Michigan shore has beaches and dunes. Small-city living can also include distinctive architecture in Columbus or historic streets beside the Ohio River. Autumn is especially appealing in the southern hills, while basketball games and indoor performances offer ways to spend winter evenings.
