This Telemetry travel nurse job in Lexington, Kentucky, with Advantis Medical is a 14-week Travel Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) contract at UK Good Samaritan Hospital. This role follows a Days shift with a 3x12 schedule.

In this Telemetry travel nursing job, you will provide patient care in a hospital setting, assess and monitor patient conditions, support urgent interventions, document care accurately, and collaborate with physicians and the clinical care team during fast-moving patient situations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a multi-patient assignment of continuously monitored cardiac patients
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms, recognizing arrhythmias and escalating changes promptly
  • Administer cardiac medications as ordered, including antiarrhythmics and anticoagulants
  • Respond to chest pain, rhythm changes, and signs of instability, initiating emergency interventions per facility protocol

Travel Telemetry Requirements:

  • 2+ years of recent Telemetry experience.
  • Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Kentucky and national regulatory bodies.
