Responsibilities
- Perform ordered CT exams across the assigned caseload, including emergent studies when assigned
- Administer oral and IV contrast per orders and facility protocol, monitoring patients during and after injection
- Operate CT equipment, selecting approved protocols and applying dose-optimization and ALARA radiation-safety standards
- Capture diagnostic-quality images and complete reconstructions per protocol, providing finished studies to radiologists
Travel CT Tech Requirements:
- 2+ years of recent CT Tech experience.
- Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Massachusetts and national regulatory bodies.

CT certification alone does not authorize every contrast-related responsibility, so permitted duties can depend on state rules, facility policy, required supervision, and documented competency.
Do I need an additional Massachusetts license to work in CT?
Massachusetts treats CT as an advanced-practice modality. You'll generally need a full Massachusetts radiologic technologist license first and a separate CT license before performing routine CT work.
