Explore Bangor, ME
Maine combines working harbors and rocky shores with an interior of lakes, forests, and mountain towns. Portland offers a substantial food and arts scene, while Bangor is a gateway to a different part of the state. Hospital and community imaging services across Maine reflect the challenge of providing care beyond its larger population centers, an important context for allied travelers. Coastal attractions include Acadia National Park and historic lighthouse settings, but western mountains and northern waterways deserve attention too. Summer brings waterfront dining and boat trips; autumn adds color to inland roads. In winter, ski communities take on a different energy, and the experience of a stay depends strongly on which region you call home.
