Explore Hermiston, OR

Hermiston, OR sits where I-82 meets I-84 in Oregon's northeast corner, covering hospital needs for Umatilla County's farm towns and a workforce that swells with the growing season. Travel assignments run to emergency and medical-surgical coverage, with the agricultural calendar shaping the caseload more than in most markets. The Tri-Cities, across the Columbia in Washington, sit about thirty minutes north for airports, big-box errands, and larger hospital markets, while Pendleton lies a half hour east. Stanfield, Echo, and Umatilla hold quieter housing minutes from town. Hat Rock State Park and the river shoreline cover time off nearby, and the flat, simple street grid makes this an unusually quick town to learn.
