This travel Certified Surgical Tech job in Charleston, SC with Advantis Medical is a 13-week travel Certified Surgical Tech contract at MUSC Health University Medical Center. This role follows a Days shift with a 3x12 schedule.

In this travel Certified Surgical Tech job, you will support patient care through specialty-specific clinical services, perform assessments and treatments within your scope of practice, document patient progress, operate relevant medical equipment, and collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to help deliver quality patient outcomes.

MUSC Health University Medical Center — Charleston, SC

MUSC Health University Medical Center's main hospital in downtown Charleston provides adult emergency and specialty care. As part of the Medical University of South Carolina, it combines clinical care with teaching and research.

Imaging at the University Hospital site includes MRI and PET-CT, alongside vascular interventional radiology for minimally invasive diagnostic and treatment procedures.

Trauma care combines CT-based assessment, surgery and critical care for injuries such as traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and damage to major bones.

The Charleston stroke program holds Comprehensive Stroke Center certification from The Joint Commission and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, with a dedicated neuroscience ICU.

The South Carolina Burn Center provides specialized wound care, skin substitutes and skin graft procedures, with reconstructive surgery and rehabilitation supporting recovery.

The emergency department's EmPATH unit provides psychiatric evaluation and short-term stabilization for adults in behavioral health crisis, then coordinates the next stage of care.
