Explore Laredo, TX

At the southern end of Interstate 35 on the Rio Grande, Laredo, TX is the largest U.S. inland port for trade with Mexico, sitting directly across the river from Nuevo Laredo. CT, ultrasound, and therapy work here serves a growing border population. Much of the city's economy is built on trade, trucking, and logistics around the World Trade Bridge. US-59 and US-83 join I-35 here, and Loop 20 rings the eastern side of the city. Texas A&M International anchors higher education, and most care is delivered in both English and Spanish. Housing runs affordable for a city this size, though San Antonio, about a hundred fifty miles north on I-35, is the nearest stop for some specialized care.
