Explore Fredericksburg, VA

Caught almost exactly halfway between Washington and Richmond, Fredericksburg, VA has grown from a historic river town into a busy commuter base on the I-95 corridor. The radiology and rehab clinics here serve that growing population, sitting close to the interstate exits and the older downtown along the Rappahannock. I-95 runs straight through at Exit 130, US-1 and Route 3 feed the local grid, and both Amtrak and the VRE commuter rail carry riders north to the capital. Stafford County sits across the river to the north and Spotsylvania spreads south and west, both absorbing the same DC overflow. The northbound I-95 commute can stretch to two hours at its worst, so many working near the District lean on the train instead.
