Responsibilities

  • Perform ordered CT exams across the assigned caseload, including emergent studies when assigned
  • Administer oral and IV contrast per orders and facility protocol, monitoring patients during and after injection
  • Operate CT equipment, selecting approved protocols and applying dose-optimization and ALARA radiation-safety standards
  • Capture diagnostic-quality images and complete reconstructions per protocol, providing finished studies to radiologists

Travel CT Tech Requirements:

  • 2+ years of recent CT Tech experience.
  • Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Florida and national regulatory bodies.

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is a 479-bed acute-care hospital with separate adult and pediatric emergency services available around the clock. Its programs span cardiovascular disease, cancer, maternity and neonatal intensive care.

Imaging includes CT, MRI, ultrasound and fluoroscopy, with peripheral vascular and neurovascular angiography available through interventional radiology.

The Heart and Vascular Center performs coronary angioplasty and stenting, bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement.

The DNV-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center offers CT and MRI evaluation, thrombectomy, aneurysm clipping and coiling, and carotid angioplasty and stenting.

Cancer services treat breast, colorectal, lung, pancreatic and other cancers, combining diagnostic imaging and biopsy with chemotherapy or surgery when indicated.

The Level III neonatal ICU cares for premature and medically complex newborns, with conventional and high-frequency ventilation, whole-body cooling and pediatric subspecialty support.
