Responsibilities

  • Screen patients, visitors, and equipment for MRI safety, including implants and ferromagnetic objects
  • Position patients and select the appropriate coils and imaging sequences for each study
  • Administer gadolinium contrast when ordered, following facility protocol
  • Obtain diagnostic-quality images, adjusting parameters to manage motion and artifacts, and provide completed studies to radiologists

Travel MRI Tech Requirements:

  • 2+ years of recent MRI Tech experience.
  • Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by New Mexico and national regulatory bodies.

CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in Santa Fe provides emergency, inpatient and surgical care for northern New Mexico. Its hospital services extend to maternity, behavioral health and rehabilitation.

Hospital imaging includes CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and PET/CT, with CT, MRI and ultrasound available 24 hours a day for inpatients.
