Travel Neuro/Trauma ICU Requirements:
- 2+ years of recent Neuro/Trauma ICU experience.
- Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Kentucky and national regulatory bodies.
Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is an acute care hospital serving south-central Kentucky, with internal medicine and family medicine residency programs.
- The emergency department operates around the clock, and the hospital holds Joint Commission certification as a Primary Stroke Center. Read More
- General surgical care extends across the emergency department, medical-surgical floor and ICU, connecting acute evaluation, operative treatment and inpatient recovery.
- Intensive care services include neurological, cardiac, medical and surgical care for patients requiring closer monitoring and treatment during critical illness.
- Surgical procedures include colon resection, gallbladder removal, breast surgery, hernia repair and thyroid or parathyroid operations, with laparoscopic options.
- The hospital is an American College of Cardiology-accredited Chest Pain Center with percutaneous coronary intervention for coronary artery treatment.
- Maternity care covers antepartum, labor, delivery and postpartum care. Obstetric procedures include cesarean delivery and cerclage, with a Level II NICU for newborns needing additional support.
